I thought that if I use the same server, Donkey server number 2, whether emule or amule, will produce the same results.  emule produced 100+ results, amule produced just 3.  Any ideas?

Are you using global search mode in both instances?

No, I am not.  Never did use the function before.  Now that you said it, just tried it, and results turned out almost the same.  I have no side by side comparison, but it's definitely a lot more than the original.  Thanks for the help.  BTW, what's the difference between the 2?

local search uses just the server you are connected to

and global search uses ALL servers in your server list, this puts a lot more load on all servers so its only recommended when you dont find nothign on the server you are conntected to atm

btw do you have all firewall ports opend for your linux mule? since I never experienced any problems searching with amule compared to emule
