Users on forum, and release
« on: May 02, 2005, 03:55:48 PM »

Hi aMule users and friends :) I'm here to shamelessly claim that we reached our user 4000 on forum! Well, 4002 as I write this, but I want to note our 4000 user here: "ANTILLIAAN" was lucky enough to win... uh... a news item about him/her. So, congratulations!

As for releases, 2.0.0 is being finished and will be packaged along this day. So you can expect it tonigh most probably, if nothing goes wrong. And I mean "night" on europe, no jokes about "I live in Australia and it's night already!". WESTERN Europe, btw ;)

As for every release, we'll have the sources tarball and the changelog first, and the packages for different distros, along with the Mac and Win32 binnaries, will follow as they're created.

Fasten your seatbelts, release is coming....

For all ppl that use my rep. Comment the line out if you want to stay on final. You will get final if it's in offcial rep's. If you update, you get a higher version than I suppose that the ones in debian have, so it is a jard way back. For all others is no change. Except for woody users, I'm working on debs for them.
