User amule is only for amule, ssh checks your credentials and allows you to login as a different user, but amule(d) uses it's own port and let's you control only that one running instance, so the user that starts amule there, is the user you get access to, no matter what is in the username field. Maybe there where plans to provide functionality for this field, but for now amule has no user management.
