Debian slug problems
« on: June 11, 2006, 11:14:00 PM »

Hi ,
Just installed with apt-get, amule on my debian slug(nslu2)(debian slug os 3.10).

After typing the command "amule" it's giving me a message like
"Unable to initialize gtk, is DISPLAY set properly?".
I am connected to nslu2 by "putty" on a windows pc.

What do I have to do.

Thanks,
Provat

Hi provat!

You have to install the amule daemon amuled instead of amule, because you don't have a X-server (graphical user interface) on the slug-machine.

Salut
