From other tries someone asked me this, so here it is, might help solve the problem:

And I also add that I compiled/instaled wxWidgets 2.5.3 from source, then ldconfig and then compiled/installed aMule 2.0.0RC8 from source, and it didnt seem to have complained about nothing.

So what's the source of that problem?

I'm running mandrake. Prior to all this, I un-installed aMule and the wx that came with it...

add /usr/local/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf, and then execute ldconfig. (all this as root, I think)
