amule wants libcurl

I'd like to try the new 2.0rc6 but it gives me an error about the shared library licurl.
This wasn't needed to run 2.0rc3 (The version I'm currently running).
Is this a new requirment or I just grabbed a slackware package configured with different options?

install libcurl package from your distro

I have a similar question...everything installs fine but I can't run it because it fails while looking for libcurl.so.2.  I have curl and curl-devel installed from Fedora's distro (FC3t3), but the packages don't include that library (though they have libcurl.so and libcurl.so.3, among others).  I've also been unable to find any way to get that file - Fedora doesn't seem to offer whatever package has that file, and even building curl from source didn't install it.  So...does anyone know of a Fedora package that has that file, or some other place I could get it?  ?(

*EDIT* nvm, I cheated and I think it works now... :rolleyes:

Hi,

old distros have libcurl.so.2, and new ones libcurl.so.3.

the packages needed by the rpm depend on which one the rpm was compiled
