kno,
Ok, you got me on a patient day.
aMule CVS is on a private machine. This means, this machine is not supposed to have a large traffic. So it can only handle the developers traffic. We thank bootstrap for hosting our CVS in such a reliable machine.
In order to implement a public CVS access, we need scripts to rsync the repositories. This can be done, but it takes time, and bootstrap has not been too much around lately. And the rsync process would happen once or twice a day, which would not make it any different from the daily tarball.
I agree, having a public CVS is a nice convenience, and yes, I would like to see a public CVS repository for aMule, but on the other hand, sourceforge or berlios have not met the reliability standard I am used to with aMule CVS, so I would not like to develop under these repositories.
Any help in the direction of synching different CVS repositories is welcome.
Cheers!
