amuleweb become defunct after boot
« on: September 11, 2007, 12:56:14 AM »

Hi to everybody!

I'm using Fedora 7 on a AMD-k6 ~500 MHz~  with 381 Mb of ram.

I've installed aMule with yum and the rpm package from Livna repository.

My intention is to run the amuled daemon and manage it with amuleweb.

I've copied the amuled startup script (for redhat...) from http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_amuled and followed all the hints on that page (chmod, chkconfig, etc...). I've also configured amule (using the gui) in order to load amuleweb and accept external connection.

But after the boot, amuled is in Sleeping state (and that's fine) while amuleweb is Defunct (that's bad!).

The strange thing is that  if i stop and start the service from the console ("amuled stop && amule start" from /etc/init.d dir) everithing goes fine and i can manage amule from an other pc by net.

What is the problem? Why amuleweb dies after the boot but lives if started from console?

Suggestion please !!!

Thankyou in advance ...
