Title: Startup Crash (Ubuntu 64 bit)
Post by: Jepessen on May 29, 2006, 11:17:23 PM
Hi to all.

I've downloaded the aMule 2.1.2 tarball, and I've compiled it, on my Ubuntu 5.10 64 bit, with these options:

--enable-amulecmd --enable-cas --enable-wxcas --enable-alc --enable-alcc

Then, I start it, I click on button that refresh server list, and after some minutes it crash.

The backtrace is:

----------------------------=| BACKTRACE FOLLOWS: |=----------------------------
Current version is: aMule 2.1.2 using wxGTK2 v2.6.1 (Unicoded)
Running on: Linux 2.6.12-10-amd64-generic x86_64

[4] ?? in /lib/libpthread.so.0 [0x2aaaaabcf500]

How can I fix it?

Thanls for answers

Daniele

Hi Daniele!

Could you please build wxGTK 2.6.3 (with patches, see the wiki) and then aMule again?

I hope everything will work then.

Regards

BTW: Unfortunately is the backtrace not sufficient, consider the wiki on 'how to create a real backtrace'.
