On the downloading-list window, instead of the "automatically sort column option", which is said to use "high cpu"... couldn't you use "heuristics" to place the informations "nearly" at the correct place?
Example, when starting a new download (for the search panel), the file would go first "nearly" at the correct place (in the download panel) (related to the sorting selected - by size, name, ...).
Other example, when expanding a file (in the download panel), ie when looking at all the client connected related to the file, the list would be sorted.
This "sorting" would not remain for long time, since all informations changes sometimes/often, but at least, it would give an interresting information for a first glance... Same when adding a new client in this list, why not adding it at first or last place, instead of always at the fist place (ex. when sorting by priority, new one can go immediately at last place)
Of course, all this is not important, but just a "nice-to-have"... It would not change my life at all, it would simplify a "first glance" in the download view...
You would say, use the "autosort" feature, but on my computer, it makes the windows "blinking", ie. the window goes to "empty" and "refill" (very fast, yes, but it does something like a "blinking" i don't appreciate - yes again you are right, it does not happens often, like every seconds or so, but still not the best)
