Hi, I am using amule on Ubuntu 6.06 AMD64.
This version of amule often (many times a day) crashes without saying anything. This time, I started it by the console and this message appears :
==================================
A fatal error has occurred and aMule has crashed.
Please assist us in fixing this problem by posting the backtrace below in our
'aMule Crashes' forum and include as much information as possible regarding the
circumstances of this crash. The forum is located here:

If possible, please try to generate a real backtrace of this crash:

Update wx.
-
Could you please upgrade to wxGTK 2.6.3 and aMule 2.1.3? If you need help with compiling please don't hesitate to ask.
-
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, because I am a novice, I am not open to install self-compiled softwares on my ubuntu.
Is there a deb package I could download and install ?
-
There's one package by samae: http://methu.free.fr/ubuntu/amule_2.1.3-1_amd64.deb
But if you're unlucky the crash will persist, because it still uses wxGTK 2.6.1

I will try and keep you informed, thank you
