I don't have any valid souerce in Kad, the sources from http://download.overnet2000.de/nodes.dat don't work and it don't has the feature to autorun making double-click on another user of ed2K
what can i do?
-
Relatively easy:
- Make sure you have a connection to a well-known ed2k server such as DonkeyServer 2.
- Search a bit for a well known file such as the aMule-2.1.3 source package, and download it.
- Wait for some sources indicated by the file.
- Go to the Kad page and click on "bootstrap from known clients".
- Make sure you have Kad selected in the preferences menu, this for future restarts.
This should start up Kad and connect you to peers.
-
I tried but I don't know why but the bootstrap don't make nothing, Currently I'm downloading files with 300 sources and the bootstrap don't get any Kad nodes.
-
Hmm, then I'm out. Does it really do nothing? Does the log file state anything, like "Connecting to Kad", "Firewalled" or any other message with Kad in it?
-
the sources from http://download.overnet2000.de/nodes.dat don't work
For me they do.
Have you tried to:- shut down aMule
- download the nodes.dat to ~/.aMule/nodes.dat
- start aMule again
?
-
In the kad tab it says that it's running and not connected... the bootstrap does nothing and using the link http://download.overnet2000.de/nodes.dat for updating nodes it seems that get around 120 nodes but in a minute It says 0 nodes. How can I get a log to show you what's happening?
-
you can see how i have it here:

Your UDP port is closed.
-
It can't be because I'm in DMZ
-
Well you get no UDP replies at all. Hence why either is closed, or filtered.
-
suddenly It connected. But this happened other times and if I exit from aMule or shutdown the computer the next time it won't work
