What about adding an option (like in some advanced emule mods) to disable/use a lower compression level for transfer within ed2k network?
that can be very usefull when running amule with very high upload capacity system...
for example i would prefer trasfering 10mB more (on a 1gb file...) to a client whereto i'm uploading @ 400kB/s instead of using cpu power trying to compress that data :))
maybe in that way the cpu usage can be lowered a little ;)

that old pentium I is still doing his job, isn't it? ;)

it's not a pentium 1... it's a celeron 1300mhz....
but i run a lot of others services on that machine... i don't bother using 20mbit instead of 15mbit of bw..
i just need low cpu usage... so i can use the cpu for other things :P
