Post by: morfan on August 24, 2006, 05:05:20 PM
Two questions:
1.It says
Kademlia status: Running
Status : Connected
Connection State: Firewalled
Firewalled state: No buddy
Average user:10
Average Files:2k

I have High id.Why that say firewalled ?Is there anything wrong?
2.How to take my credits file emule from windows? Can I use on amule?

If you are highID on ed2k, then everything should be setup properly and you just have to wait a little longer until Kad realizes that it is not firewalled.

Your unique identifier, that other clients use to store your credits, is in the the file cryptkey.dat, which you can just copy from your windows box to the "~/.aMule" folder on your bsd box.
For a complete list of the files that aMule uses, see here (http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Files) -- many of those are the same for both aMule and eMule.

I think you also need to copy preferences.dat over. preferences.dat contains the UID while cryptkey.dat contains the key for secure identification for that ID.
