How exactly does the icon in the bottom right hand corner look?
Like this (http://www.emule-project.net/home/files/help/1033/ConnectedHighNot.png) or like this (http://www.emule-project.net/home/files/help/1033/ConnectedNotHigh.png)?
The first one means that you have a high ID on the ED2K network but that Kad isn't connected. The second one means the opposite (not connected to the ED2K network, but high ID on the Kad network).
As you describe your problem I would guess that you haven't opened every port aMule uses.
Have you opened all the ports mentioned here (http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_eD2k-Kademlia#Which_ports_do_I_have_to_configure_in_a_firewall_or_router_to_run_aMule?) (in partcular UDP 4665 (TCP PORT + 3))?
[edits]For some reason it seems that the link above doesn't work and I can't get it to work. Anyway I'm referring to this (http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_eD2k-Kademlia) wiki page, chapter 8 and 9 from the table of contents.[/edits]

thank u....
all of the used ports are open, so that cant be the problem. amule worked fine, until i reinstalled it. ive no idea what to do...
the icon look like the first one, so no kad.

And the real bonus question: Which DonkeyServer no2 are you connected to? There are a few fakes ones out there..... Make sure it's the one with IP address 62.241.53.16.

no, im connected to the real server

And you are sure you are running aMule 2.1.3 and not 2.0.3 (or an even older version)?
Also, is kad turned on on your machine?
Finally, can you use the connection tester (http://www.amule.org/testport.php) to make sure, your port forwarding is indeed set up properly (the servers sometimes report your status incorrectly)?
