How can this  influence amule's work?
So far I can connect to donkey servers. Thank god we have kad. The question is whether we'll be able to use eD2k network as we did before...

Imho it won't influnce as the original client's development was already stalled since about a year and all important things (servers, the most other clients, used networks) don't depend on edonkey2000 and metamachine.

Isn't the Server-Software still owned by MetaMachine and Lugdunum just got Source so he can improve it any further...  ? (but no right to release the source)
