I've got the same problem and I think the url to download nodes.dat is not working anymore..
I found on the webpage http://www.overnet2000.de that they are closing today..
So if somebody knows another page where we can find the nodes.dat it'a great matter..
Thanks!!

Try the lists at http://nodes.soultcer.net/
-
Thank you! Now it's working, firewalled (I don't know why..but this is another topic..), but working...
-
Firewalled should be gone soon. If it doesn't check the udp-port (usually 4672) in the router's/firewall'S config.
-
thanx! it works but give very few nodes (like 2-11) so the download can't begin ;(
-
the port is open in my firewall, and also if my firewall is completly turned off I always get the kad firewalled, sometimes it changes to normal, but it usually remains firewalled.. I don't know why...
Thank you!!

Can you please explain what is "autoupdate".
Each time I open amule I have to put manually the link to soultcer nodes list in kademlia window (default is overnet list), I wish to know how can I put soultcer list link like default.
Thanks a lot.
-
yes, i would like to know that also
-
Well, actually it's semi-automatic update, but what you described, that's what I meant.
The address for the server list and the address for the nodes.dat are both hardcoded. Yes, that means you have to replace the link every time. I'll fill out a bug report about this.
-
Ok, I understand.... well we'll wait for the new features....
Thanks a lot
-
i get few, if any, results from this link... is anyone getting the 75-200 # of nodes from the http://nodes.soultcer.net/ site?
-
I'm getting zero zero which means none. I'm not getting this.
-
what do i do with these nodes after i download them? what do i open it with? or how do i get them into amule?
-
MalAkye79, when you download a nodes.dat file, you put it into aMule's configuration directory. You have to do this when aMule is not running. On the Mac, the directory is ~/Library/Application Support/aMule ("~" means your home folder).

Hi there!
Try http://home.arcor.de/c0ug4r/Nodes.dat/nodes.dat

Guys!
I'm trying to get some relevant stats about "stable" Kad nodes... So, I need a place where I can find nodes.dat updated quite often. Could you point me to such a place (places)? I'd also appreciate if you could tell me how often the file is updated.
Thanks!
