I'm a new GNU/Linux user (Ubuntu distro),
I want to share my old Temp and Incoming folders. So I follow a online guide:
Fat 32 partition, in this way the folders can be shared and readble for XP and Ubuntu.
I copied the files clients.met , preferences.dat e cryptkey.dat to ~/.aMule/
So aMule reads the Incoming folder but not the Temp files and when I'm in eMule I lost the Temp files as well.
But it happens only for the files that I moved (the old ones, the ones I wanted to transfer when I used only eMule), infact if I select new files to transfer in eMule and aMule the are recognized and I don't have any problems.
I'd like to solve it, cause I have hundreads of MB of half movies or half *.rar files that I don't want to loose.
Do you have any tip for me??

Hi allec!
Could you please try the import function of aMule?
-
I tried, but it gives error (or unkown file format) in each file...
And anyway, I should have them in eMule but they are disappeared from both the programs. Only with the new files in trafering it's fine.
Is it possible that the .part files were damaged when I moved them from NTFS to FAT32 partition?
Can you immagine the reason?

I solved deleting all the folders and copying them from the beginning.
I think the files were corrupted during the first copying, maybe.
