Title: Mandriva 2007 - Files never ended
Post by: Sebcbien on November 05, 2006, 10:17:04 PM
Hi everybody.
I have Mandriva 2007 + aMule 2.1.3 and amule never complete a file, finding a lot of corrupt part, and it's neverending. It does the same thing with quite all file since I reinstalled my system, formatting partition and doing it properly.
I scanned my partition TEMP with fsck and there's no bad cluster.
So it never stop, I dl the same file infinitly, I'm the "up-king".
Where could be the problem ?

Thanks a lot helping me.

Have you tried using IPFilter? maybe you have clients consistently sending you bad data, or tried deleting amule.conf, and reconfiguring it?

Regards.

IPFilter is not a firewall: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/IPFilter

I don't use an RPM (I use Fedora 6, as you can see on my info :)) but I build wxGTK and aMule from source code.

I use mandriva and aMule 2.1.3 and SVN .....
I get a lot of corruption too only for some files and i have ipfilter on...
I believe its not really a aMule problem....but some clients sending bad data since corrupted parts are always the same...
But i also notice some heavy cpu load after some running hours....and after e couple of days it crashes...well...not everything is perfect....

Cheers....
