Hi Roi!
Could you please rename the ~/Library/Application Support/aMule folder to ~/Library/Application Support/aMule-old and try to start again?
If this works, please report in and we'll restore everything.

Hi zooli,
First, the name of the application is "aMule". You keep calling it "emule", but that's a different program from a different project.
Second, when wuischke said this:
Could you please rename the ~/Library/Application Support/aMule folder to ~/Library/Application Support/aMule-old and try to start again?
He was not asking you to rename the application, he was asking you to rename the directory in which aMule keeps its configuration information. Please try that.
Lastly, to run aMule from Terminal, please do the following:
- Control-click (or right-click) on aMule.app
- Select "Show Package Contents"
- Navigate to Contents > MacOS
- Double-click on the "amule" icon.
I hope that helps. :)
