Title: Serverlist configuration
Post by: leaphion on December 03, 2006, 08:12:25 AM
Okay. I'm starting to get pissed off by the way my amule works.

First of all, by amuleweb I haven't been able to connect to any server at all yet, neither have
I been able to remove servers from my serverlist in amuleweb. In amulecmd I haven't found
any kind of command for those two things.

The annoying part is that, after I connect to some bigass server, it stays there for some time,
and after that connects to the first server on the server.met, which usually happens to be this
small server.

So tell me, how can I:
1. Connect to a server in amuleweb?
2. Remove servers from server.met in either one (amuleweb & amulecmd)?

Your help is truly appreciated.

I'm using aMule CVS, but I don't think the web interface was changed that much.

aMuleWeb:
Delete Servers: Click at the red cross in front of each server.
Connect to server: Click at the yellow lightning
Add server: Insert the ed2k-Link (Like ed2k://|server|62.241.53.3|4242|/) into the link handler and submit.

Yeah. That's what I also thought would happen when pushing those buttons,
but for some mystic reason there's nothing happening when I push the yellow
thing or the red x. That's the main problem here, and that's the thing bothering
me.

Btw: Just for the clarification, the KAD doesn't work in amuleweb or amulecmd?

In aMule CVS, there's the amulecmd option 'connect kad'. There's also an KAD-window in the amuleweb-interace.

Deleting servers works for some, for others I get the following error:

Processing request [redirected]: amuleweb-main-servers.php
Request failed with the following error: server not found: [80.239.200.109:3000].WCThread: exited [WebSocket closed]
Could you please start amuleweb in a terminal and tell us what it outputs?
