Title: aMule GUI under Windows
Post by: Madjic on December 04, 2006, 01:43:46 PM
Hi,
I've got aMuled running on a Linux server and access it over the Webinterface...
as some options (like categories) are not fully supported by the webinterface or amulecmd, so i was wondering if there is any possibility to use aMulegui under windows....

The windows version of aMuleGUI works just fine with the linux aMuled, but both of them must be of the same version (or the same CVS day).
Even with the GUI there are a couple of things that can't be managed, like the dl/ul paths, but other works really fine, like searches, where aMuleweb is limited (only one at the time, no "exclude" filtering)

In x64 only login and wait. Nothing more.

doesn't work too well, I can connect, but after a few seconds the speed display freezes and adding categories crashes the GUI

I use Gentoo with amule-2.1.3 (latest in portage tree) and windows XP with amule-gui-2.1.3 -- amulecmd works fine

Hi there,
i too have the amule daemon (2.1.3) running on a linux server that is on 247 but i cant get the amule gui (2.1.3) in winXP to show the correct status
as i shows the daemon as not connected (even though i am)
the only joy i have had so far is if i use the web gui and amule cmd

also wxcas also shows the daemon as not connected???

is there still a known problem with the windpws remote controls??
