Title: aMule-CVS-20061218 won't start
Post by: Fred456 on December 19, 2006, 04:15:21 PM
Hi there,
First of all I'd like to compliment the whole aMule team for this fine piece of software.
My problem  :D :
I've installed aMule-2.1.3 on my computer (OpenSuse 10.2) using the wiki's compilation walkthrough. Everything worked out just fine except there was the issue with the 4GB file limitation. So I've uninstalled aMule and had a try with the latest CVS version aMule-CVS-20061218. Unfortunately onces I was finished compiling I tried to launch aMule and the donkey icon appears for 20 seconds or so but then nothing happens.
I'm a Linux newbie so if there is a repository for the latest aMule, that would make it easier   (links in this thread http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?postid=63176 don't work anymore)

Anyway  Any help would be appreciated

thanks

Run amule from a console/terminal and read what it prints.
