will we see them in a next future? the development of the remote gui has stalled for over a year
specifically i am referring to the
- visualization of the kad nodes stats
- support for comments and filename variability in the file details tab (the bad thing is that at the moment there is not way to check the reliability of a file using amuled coupled with amulegui/webinterface/commandline)
- support for network/clients statistics
- expansion of the list of the sources
probably there are other missing features but i think that these indicated are the most important ones

Visualization of stats (not only kad): yes, 1 graph per metric.
Comments and other file details: will be.
Expansion of list of sources: not a chance. This would be very cpu-memory-network extensive.

Simplify the interface, using a button to open a new window for ad server from a file or directly.
Add ed2k from search tab, from a button and a new window.
Simplify the search tab, using a form list like the "global or local search one", for type of files, not throught "more options".

Reworking interface is excelent idea. Lack of decent RAD tools for wx makes it quite diffical.

May I suggest one think? I use amule on iBook G4 12" (or 13", don't remember :P ) and the preference panel is always bigger than the height of the screen, causes me from resize it, or click on "ok" or "cancel" button... Is ti possible to reduce the default size of it? Or, more interesting, resize the height of the windows to fit the height of the screen if this is lesser than the default windows size. It's a reasonable request? :P

So the feature "Displaying connected Kad-nodes" is already working? At my amule/amulegui 2.1.3 there is no graph in Networks->Kad->Nodes stats. Just amuleweb shows it.
Other feature requests for amuleGUI:
- Transfer/Queue: Rating/Score is always 0.0
- Shared files: incomplete files are not shown (amuleweb does)
- Networks: amule-Log not shown
- Networks: Server-Info not shown

Code::Blocks (cvs) has got one and there is also http://wxglade.sourceforge.net/ (http:// [URL)]wxGlade[/URL]. Maybe they could help you.

Working categories. When trying to add a category amulegui crashes.
