Title: kind of bookmarks for amule-gui
Post by: mali on January 30, 2007, 11:40:34 PM
Hi,

on feature I would like to have is for amule-gui a kind of bookmarks.
If you wonna control different amuled with one gui you always have to type in the different hosts, ports, logins and passwords by hand - a bit boring ;(

So it wourd be nice to have a bookmark in which these datas are saved and when you start an new gui you can choose between hosts in the bookmarks...

only an idea...

greetz to all

I wonder - you actually have such situation? I mean, you really need to control multiple mules?
Anyway, IMHO best way to deal with it is to add command line param like host=xxx pass=yyy

yeah,  I have to control a few hundred mules all over the world...just joking ;)

For a few of my friends, I've changed their computer from emule to amule on linux and at the moment they are not so confirm with linux. So I'm a kind of admin and from time to time I like to look at their amuled if there's everything all right. Therefor I'd like to have a kind of bookmarks.

amulegui -h
doesn't show me any command line params like host, port, pass.
and I've tried:
amulegui host=xxx pass=yyy
and
amulegui --host=xxx --pass=yyy
but with no success...???
