Title: aMule crashes at startup
Post by: x1a4 on February 25, 2007, 07:26:33 PM
Hi,

Everything worked fine until I updated my computer, now aMule crashes at startup.

Distro: Xubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft)
Kernel: 2.6.17-10
GUI: Xfce 4.4
GTK: 2.10.6
aMule: 2.1.3 using wxGTK2 v2.6.3 (Unicoded)

When I ran aMule from the terminal here's what I got:

Code: [Select]

No other instances are running.
HTTP download thread started

Hi x1a4:

Please rename the file /home/x1a4/.aMule/amule.conf to something else and try to start aMule again. If it still doesn't work try the same for clients.met, preferences.dat and cryptkey.dat (the last two depend on each other i.e. rename both).

Hum, it works but it was not supposed to crash. Would you mind pm me the config file, so I can reproduce the problem here?
