Title: Kad and ed2k

If we are connected to both Kad and ed2k networks, and search for a file on kad and then start downloading it, will it also download from people who have that file on ed2k? (And visa versa?)

Yes. Server, Kademlia and Source Exchange are just 3 different ways of getting sources in the same network. As soon as you know the IP and port of a source there are no differences.
