Hi acebrazer!

You have installed:
Quote
aMule-2.1.3-1.pm.3.src.rpm

The 'src' in the package name means 'source', the source code of an application.

Packman has a package (aMule-2.1.3-1.pm.3.i586.rpm (http://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.2/i586/aMule-2.1.3-1.pm.3.i586.rpm)) or you could use CVS (development version with more features, but the risk to be broken) builds (forum thread (http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=11590.0)

To start aMule after installing without using the menu type 'amule' in a terminal or the 'run application' dialog. For CVS versions you have to use 'amule --even-if-lfroen-complains-this-will-stay'.

BTW: You have posted in the German part of the forum, but written in English. I'll move the post to the English part, but I (and others) can answer you in German if you prefer. Just open a new thread in the German part and write in German.
