Title: Credits: Error while verifying identity: BER decode error
Post by: gojyo on May 26, 2007, 12:46:37 PM
Hi,
this morning I found this message in the log:
Quote
Credits: Error while verifying identity: BER decode error

I'm using aMule 2.1.3.

What's the message about?

Using google I found this: http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4385&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

Its debug output from C++ CryptoPP code inside MLDonkey which seems
to be connected with failed eMule SUI verification, nothing to worry about.

This is about MLDonkey, but I guess the same goes for aMule.

Thank you.
I'm just wandering why it's showing up just now...

I've read in the Italian section of this forum that it could be related to a corrupted client.met file (maybe after a crash).
I've now tried removing client.met and client.met.bak files, for now the message didn't show up again.
