I have only used the Mac version of aMule. So I can only guess that the way aMule works and looks and feels is the same on the other platforms for which it is available.
However, in order to make it become an even better Mac application, it would be nice to have certain features more Mac-like. For example, on Mac apps
- the "About" info is usually accessed via the application menu (the one that says "aMule") on the left;
- the blinking button (e.g. in Preferences) being the default button (such as "OK") can be confirmed via Enter (just like under Windows) rather than clicking on it.
There are a few more, but I'm not sure what the tenor is about "Macifying" aMule. Other than that I'm happy with the way it is.

I guess the way aMule looks and works is determined by wxWidgets, which is the library aMule uses to be multi-platform. I guess there's nothing that can be done on aMule side, this is more an wxWidgets issue.

Partly true. There are some very nice looking wxWidgets-Applications for Mac, but i think this needs quite some tweaking...
