I want to update the server list
it report follow message

I had the same trouble on my Ubuntu, and only deinstaled and reinstaled Amule with Synaptic. After this, I open the UDP and TCP ports on linux firewall (I'm using firestarter), that are three: 4662, 4665 and 4672 before run program at first time. It run perfectly, with no crashes when I requested server update. I hope that post can help you.
