Title: Amule and Credits?

Hi guys, i was wondering how amule works regarding credits?

Does the more that i download of ANY files the more up in the list i go ? OR Do i have to download more of a particular file that i am interested in to go up in that specific LIST? I do not know if i am making myself clear. Sometimes i have a file with little sources that takes a life to download but i am always uploading at a very good rate. Does it matter the upload/dowload relation of files or just regarding the files i am interested in?
