Title: Cant get Kad to work (Kad Firewalled) Even when firewall is turned off

Hi everyone ,

I have been an emule user on PC for a few years but now I use Mac Osx. Unfortunatly now I cant get anywhere near the amount of search results I used to on emule and im thinking perhaps its got something to do with Kad not working on amule. 

Can anyone help ?

Have you opemed and forwarded the right ports in both your router and Mac OSX system preferences?

I have the same problem on Ubuntu 7.10 using amule 2.20.
My router is correctly configured to forward ports 4662 (TCP), 4672 (UDP) and 4665 (UDP) to the computer LAN IP.
I have no software firewall.

I have that problem every time I reinstall amule. I just keep getting firewalled............until I leave amule open for a few days. Suddenly, it starts to say kad: ok, without having to touch anything. I know it isn't the perfect solution, but try that.
