"connect to obfuscation compatible servers only" in server tab options

Do you have this checked?
Preferences->Security->Protocol Obfuscation->Use obfuscation for outgoing connections

Does aMule connect to servers not using obfuscation when this checkbox is checked?

just that all faked server don't have obfuscation support...
