Occasionally after a download completes I get an error message:
"Error when opening file xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: no such file or directory" and the file is removed from the shared file list. I usually remove the file to free disk space because there is never anything wrong with the file and the permissions of it are the same as all the other files I am sharing. Is there something I have to do to the file to make it shareable or is it a bug? All my other files download with or without connections and after every reboot different files have zero connections on them until I reboot again after which different files stay zero although some files will eventually connect and share depending on how long I keep the computer on. I use amule-cvs on fc9.

lost99,
How recent is the tarball that you are using? This issue has been addressed in a very recent time, so you should probably try today's tarball to see it this still happens.
To be sure, tell me, are there any non-ascii characters in this file name? By non-ascii I mean something different from the range 32 to 127, like ç, ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú, etc. What is your local encoding? ISO-8859-1? UTF-8?

This is en_US.UTF-8 and aMule SVN Snapshot:
Tue Jan 15 07:01:56 CET 2008. The last file this happened to had umlaut u and o in it. I will get the latest tarball as of today and see what happens.
