This seems pretty much like my situation. Could you elaborate on your setup? Firewall, ports, router, distro. If it is really the same issue, by comparing our setups we could possibly identify the source of this problem.

I have the same problem. I installed amule-CVS on a debian etch O.S. from the vollstreckt repositories.
I use amule-daemon and the kad net is always firewalled, even if all ports are opened.

I tried to dump (tcpdump) udp packets on extended port 4665 and i noticed that packets go out and in of my pc but after some minutes (about 6-7) nodes.dat goes to 0 bytes and i have no nodes anymore. Infact, also tcpdump stops its activity and i can't see anymore packets on udp 4665 port!

If i download a new nodes.dat (http://emule-inside.net/nodes.dat) the problem still persist: some minutes with connections on udp port 4665 and then nodes to 0 bytes and no udp connections.

This is what amulecmd says for ever...

This is a piece of tcpdump log...

I don't understand what is the problem... can you help us?
