as of aMule-SVN-2008-04-16: Is Kad 2.0 a new feature and is it enabled by default or is it a special feature that has to be enabled in a special way? Or what is Kad 2.0 about?

Kad2.0 == Kademlia protocol version 2.0 and it is enabled by default and cannot be disabled unless modifying the code.

Is it an answer to your question?

Monday. Kad2.0 is not "enabled by default" anywhere, kad2.0 is working always, ther's nothing to enable or disable because it's a protocol extension.
