There are many outdated pages in our wiki containing old and incorrect information. In order to improve this situation, a wiki reorganization should be done.
Everyone is invited to help by pointing out outdated pages and of course by updating the pages or translations.
Please have a look at the wiki for more information: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Wiki_reorganization
Thanks a lot for your contributions to aMule!

There is a small problem. When I try to upload an image to the wiki to update the old I get this:
(http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/5896/pantallazosubirarchivoazv0.th.png) (http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pantallazosubirarchivoazv0.png)
In English said something like: "upload directory can not be written by the webserver." I think it relates to the write permissions server-wiki

Well, the problem is that the official aMule release is itself heavily outdated.
Most of the compilation articles are outdated, but it makes no sense to update them to 2.1.3 or to SVN with 2.2.0 coming out any year now.
The best moment to start activities would be when 2.2.0 comes out.
Also, the broken wiki upload should be fixed of course first.
And anonymous write access should be blocked to keep the spammers away. 90%-100% of all log entries are spam and spam cleanups now. >:(

Yeah, I agree with that

What about Blocking Spam in MediaWiki (http://wiki.evernex.com/index.php?title=Blocking_Spam_in_Mediawiki)? I see SpamBlacklist (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SpamBlacklist) is installed, but the blacklist data appears to be outdated.

This page can probably be deleted: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_compile_on_Mac_v200rc8

I agree. Done. :)

Please do not wait for the next release, but write anything with our current SVN snapshot in mind. I already stood someone up today, so I'll not mention anything related to soon™ anymore.

The Articles should be updated before 2.2.0 comes, so users can use the infromation when they get the release. The outdated articles about old distros and so on are noted by me, I plan to remove this stuff at release time, so all info is more or less current state.

Sorry, but this problem still exists... :/

Festor, I'm very sorry, but I can't fix this. (As in I can't) Please use imageshack or another service for now.
This will be fixed soon™. But expect the next version of aMule sooner. :(

¬¬
ok, I will try with imageshack...
-
I think it's working now.

Thanks! :D
