Title: starting script for amuled
Post by: Morse on June 17, 2008, 10:57:01 PM
I'm new to linux, so i can't write such a script by myself. Can someone write it for openSUSE please

And since amuled isn't "experimental" now, it would be nice to add such scripts for both amuled and amuleweb  in standard package with some simple gui for those who do not know where to put it.

Yes, i already read the wiki and i didn't find the script for SUSE.

Well, aMule is a multi-platform application. What works on Windows is completely different on a Mac or on Linux, BSD, Solaris, IRIX, you name it. Even Linux distributions differ among themselves. I doubt a simple GUI for such things will be an official part of aMule. We are glad to accept user contributions for such tools, though.

Anyway, I believe Suse uses sys-v style init files and should be compatible or at least similar to red hat.
