Title: i see my self in "show UL" (aMule 2.2.1)
Post by: anp on June 24, 2008, 05:11:54 PM
in amulecmd "show UL" and amuleweb uploads i see my hostname downloading random file from me.
to check it i tried 15 unique hostames, but the problem persists.

aMulecmd$ show UL
 > 1416472845 http://emule-project.net Кобра (Cobra).avi 0 bytes 2.58 kB/s
 > 1337322201 Gumunkulator3000 Smert.I.Zavtrak.(Rus).XviD.Ru.&.ShareReactor.ru.avi 0 bytes 3.37 kB/s
 >          1 sergei Dzhordzh.iz.Dzhungley.(rus).kinoshniki.&.ShareReactor.ru.avi 19.68 MB 3.15 kB/s

(in this case my name is "Gumunkulator3000")
is this a bug?
is this UL connection consuming bandwith?

There are username clones in the network that bounce back to you the same username you have as their username. They do so to try and benefit of community mods.
