This is my second topic in this forum. I was looking for a "daemonized" p2p program to run it ni an old PC that is full time connected. I tried amule using windows and now I have gone linux and installed ubuntu server on that PC.
I have amule 2.2.1 running quite fine. Anyway I have some little problems and some questions.
First of all, I have configured amule to use a user called "amule". This user has no adm rights, but I have seen that there is a "UseLowRightsUser" config value that makes me think that I may grant some rights to that user. ¿What is the desirable configuration for the amule user?
I have some machines with amule GUI on them. Some of them are not in the same LAN as the server.
In this client machines amule GUI shows local directories when you choose Options/Directories (I see it in spanish, and it is opciones/directorios). Amule GUI over windows shows "C:\Documents and Settings\MyWinUser\Mis documentos\aMule Downloads" and amule GUI linux shows "/home/MyLinuxUser/.aMule/Incoming", but I think it should show real incoming folder that is "/home/amule/.aMule/Incoming". May this be a bug?
The same problem occurs when adding a new category, amule GUI shows "C:\Documents and Settings\MyWinUser\Mis documentos\aMule Downloads" but it should show remote server folder. Moreover, it you try to create a new category from amule GUI it always fails.
I have also a problem with amuleweb skins. The combo that lets you choose the skin shows "no options available". I have four skins at /usr/share/amule/webserver/ so it looks fine but they are not shown. Anyway, changing the skin in amule.conf works although it still shows "no options available" on that combo.
I don´t know if my post should go here or in development forum, because I don´t know if these are bugs or if im doing something wrong. Feel free to move this message in that case.
thanks!

They're bugs (rather unimplemented features)

No need to worry in that case, cos 2.2.1 works quite well. Thanks for your reply Kry.

"UseLowRightsUser" is a config option for webserver, which lets you use a "full right user" password, and a "low rights user" password, who is only able to watch some pages and cannot modify things (if it still works, and may be removed in the future).

Ok GonoszTopi, I have just seen it on settings pannel. This happens to me for seeing just .conf files instead of config windows :) Thanks!
