Hi, I was a very happy aMule user - until a week ago :D
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10, which in alpha version, and about a week ago a mess happened with my gnome. I was finally able to fix it, but now amule doesn't work anymore.
It simply doesn't start. If I try to open it using terminal, here is what I get:
Initialising aMule
Checking if there is an instance already running...
There is an instance of aMule already running
Raising current running instance.
Since I can hardly live without aMule, and I don't want to use that stupid windows-only guy who starts by 'e', what can I do? T_T

Hi mesh,
there's probably a file called muleLock in the aMule folder which you have to delete now. Execute rm ~/.aMule/muleLock (in a terminal) and try to start aMule afterwards.
