Low-ID,– FREE CANDY!
(Okay, I got you to look…)

I'm a beginner at this. I installed amule on OSX Leopard with a wireless router, and am getting the dreaded Low-ID. I tried turning Firewall off via Security, Allow all incoming connections, and in Sharing, File Sharing is on. What else do I have to do? I've read what others with problems have done, and it hasn't helped me out. I don't know how to set up  port forwarding in Leopard, for instance, or how to set a rule.

It still says Kad: Firewalled, even though I am allowing all connections. The online port tester , with amule running, gives me the usual

Detailed Error Message
TCP Error 110 Connection refused
Explanation
The connection timed out, meaning the port is being blocked or incorrectly forwarded by a firewall or your computer is turned off :)

You have to forward the port in your router, not in your Leopard.

"File Sharing" in OSX options have nothing to do with aMule (or any other 3rd party program).
