Title: amuled 2.2.2: download bw limit mal-functinal

@ Maxtor Shared Storage w/ openMSS firmware 2.6.6, 512K ADSL link.

in amulecmd:
set bwlimit down 0

download speed up to about 70KBps, just fine.

set bwlimit down 40

download speed never goes beyond 20KBps, most time 12~15KBps.

the upload bandwithd limit works just perfectly set to 40.


is this a bug ? thx.

Hello arloan, welcome to the forums.

I'm afraid this is a bug (Stu Redman will be able to say more), which is fortunately fixed in aMule 2.2.3pre.

I actually had it the other way round - DL speed was much higher than the limit.
Problem was the measurement of the DL speed of individual files. I replaced the measurement code and had it accurate since then.
arloan, would be nice if you could try a 2.2.3 prerelease version to see if the problem is fixed for you there.
