Title: scheduler
Post by: Guest on November 11, 2003, 12:17:29 AM
the scheduler eMule has is really sweet. as my provider doesn't count traffic between 09:00pm and 07:00am i always have to adjust upload/download manually. so the scheduler would really help me alot. if that's not of any interest to others, just leave it, as it works fine right now...

I also would like to see the scheduler implemented. In Portugal the happy-hour is a common isp "feature" and it's sad we can't take advantage of this using p2p over linux.
btw I am now using a script to kill amule a restarting it after 8-10 min after changing the ul/dl limits in the .eMule file.... Question: is there a signal that amule catches that will force a clean exit (clean as to save all important data before bailing out)?
Good job guys... keep up the good work.
Title: reload config

IMHO Mule must support SIGHUP to reload it's config - like most daemons do.  This way you will not have to kill it just to change settings
