Title: automatic disconnect when vpn offline
Post by: bluescreen on June 21, 2009, 12:03:17 AM
hi all!

i use a commercial proxy and connect to it via vpn. afterwards i start amule.
but when vpn gets disconnected (happens once in a while) amule is still running, but then with my unhidden ip.

how can i close amule automatically, when my vpn-connection closes? like surveilling the vpn connection and kill the amule-process in case of no vpn?

i am a linux-newbie, but i "cooperate" with a friend, who is a linux-crack, but short of time.
could you give me a hint, how to solve this problem? so i can give him an idea.

thanks and cheers!

...ask your friend! Maybe he can do it in some minutes ;)
