instead of a the 'a4af' sources being balanced across all the files,
stacking them all on the most complete file makes more sense, then after that file is complete the 'a4af's' stack onto the next most completed file (..or the next file with least sources...)
reason is, when they're balanced, all the files with a4af are disadvantaged at the same time, why not give one file all the sources they is, then work backwards, so each file gets the best chance.

something like,;
the file with the least sources gets automatically a
'swap every A4AF to this file now'

Could be usefull :P

something like,;
the file with the least sources gets automatically a
'swap every A4AF to this file now'
And after that it's the file with the most sources, and the A4AFs get swapped away again. :)

how about:
the file with the least complete sources automatically gets a 'swap every A4AF to this file now'

You don't know if a source is complete until you ask it for the file. So you get the same endless cycle.
Just leave it alone as it is I suggest.
