Title: no reaction after click file link in Google Chrome
Post by: simshw on January 07, 2012, 08:33:18 AM
i recently upgraded to Amule 2.3.1.  When i used Amule 2.2.6, I can simply click on a eD2k link in google chrome and the file will be automatically added to downloads.  Now I click the eD2k link and nothing happens, and nothing happens even if I copy the link from Google chrome and paste in Amule and press "commit"... pls help

Huh? Nothing? Any message in the log window? Did you try a different link? Maybe the one you tried is bad.

I have the same problem. I upgraded to amule 2.3.1 on OSX and ed2k links are not supported in chrome, no message in log window. In Safari and Firefox amule 2.3.1 ed2k links works fine.

Does copy the link from Google chrome and paste in Amule and press "commit" work for you?

I googled it a bit and it seems like Chrome just doesn't support ED2K links.  :(

I must click the elinks in Firefox. Even if I have amule-gnome-support installed.

You can copy the ed2k link and paste, but it's a little bit annoying
