Title: Welcome back online
Post by: GonoszTopi on August 27, 2014, 12:19:38 PM
Hello everyone!

It's been quite a while we met "here" last time... The site is back online, with forum, bug tracker and wiki all working. A few words about them:

Forum (http://forum.amule.org/):

Bug Tracker (http://bugs.amule.org/):

Wiki (http://wiki.amule.org/):

The downloads page has been obsolated, we host all downloads on SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/amule/), anyway.

I'm still working on configuring and setting up everything right. If you find anything not working, please report it here.

It's beautiful to see the forum and wiki back online again! It's a pity that we lost all the discussions made during this transitional period in the temporary forums. Anyway, thank you so much guys!

Well, it isn't actually lost, because the temporary forum is still available. It's a pity though, that we cannot merge those conversations here...

Update: forum skin is not lost, but it was designed for smf 1.x and is not compatible with the 2.x version we're using currently

Hey, just been on a short vacation and meanwhile
- Blizzard releases the long anticipated Diablo III 2.1 patch with a community buff which is now over  :(
- GonoszTopi brings the show back online  :)

Temporary (lol) forum can be seen at http://amule.forumer.com/directory#

Even the spammers are getting excited I see.  >:(

I don't expect everything gets back into roaring action though. Maybe there might be another release, but that would only be what you guys already currently have from the SVN version. No new content is planned, only hotfixes if a new gcc version breaks something or alike.

Nice to see the forum up running again :)

Cheers guys

PS.: For the spammers: Just make no part of the forum writable w/o registration and there are some good plugins for captcha...

I haven't seen any new spammers registering in the last month. The accidental spam is coming from old accounts.

Me, not much. Trying to keep things not-dead and help people along.
I'm not expecting any new inventions.  :-\
