The idea is quite simple - i guess we all searched for something without a result.
Instead of writing that down and retry the search every now and then, we should have a tool in amule that does that.
Imagine:
1. Searching for "pizza - big fat ugly thing with cheese.mp3" - no result
2. press button "auto retry"
3. get some kind of a "notification" if amule finds that stuff (popup?)
It should be possible to set up some retry timings - something like try every 'n' hours and remind me if nothing found in 'x' days".
I like the idea.

I think it adds too much stress to the network.
If someone wants something, either they search for it on e2k link sites (much more reliable than a *mule search) or take the time and effort to remember and do the search themselves.

Short and simple - no.
In facts this feature should only ask for the files once daily for a given timeframe (a month?). That doesn't create lots of traffic, but it would make life easier for people that keep searching rare stuff.
Personally i don't like ed2k link sites - most of them provide lots of illegal content. Also they most probably won't share old and rare stuff.

that's exactly what i don't want to do. This what this feature is all about.
